GCHS Blood Drive
Lifesource will be at GCHS on Tuesday, October 18th for this year’s first blood drive. During the day students at least 17-years-old, and staff members, will have the opportunity to donate blood. Lifesource representatives will be stationed in the small gym from 8:00am-3:00pm. Students meeting the age requirement are able to donate during their studyhalls or P.E. classes only. Students with a scheduled studyhall will be required to donate during that period; any student without a studyhall will be excused from P.E. All donors must bring a state issued I.D. or a driver’s license. Sign-ups will take place on Wednesday, October 12th during P.E. classes. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the blood drive, however students will be required to first check-in with their studyhall or P.E. teacher. Community members are also welcome to donate throughout the day as well. Any community member wishing to donate must first go to the main office to receive a visitor pass. With one out of every six people who enter a hospital needing a blood transfusion, donations are incredibly important so please consider donating. Any questions should be addressed to Mrs. Highley, thighley@grantbulldogs.org or Ms. Herrick, aherrick@grantbulldogs.org.

If you are troubled by flaky areas on your face, or if you find your makeup clumping rather than settling evenly onto the natural contours of your nose, cheeks, and chin, exfoliation may be the answer to your beauty woes.
The most affordable and convenient way to exfoliate is at home with an over-the-counter facial scrub.
