The Fox Lake Polar Plunge!!!

Take a dive into fundraising literally in Fox Lake and take a swim in the freezing cold water at Lakefront Park!!! Registration begins at 11 a.m. Feb. 27, 2011. Plunge starts at 1 p.m. Lunch is free for all plungers and $5 for non- plungers.

Directions:

From the south suburbs: Go North on 53. Stay straight to Lake Cook Road. Turn slight right to Rand Rd/ US 12 -W. Approx 20 miles to Fox Lake. Right past Ray Chevy, turn right onto Oak St. Make imme- diate left on Nippersink St./Blvd.

From McHenry County: Take IL 120 into Volo. Go left on Route 12-W to Fox Lake. Turn right on Oak St. (right past Ray Chevy). Make immediate left on Nippersink Blvd/Rd.

From Route 59 N (Antioch/ Lake Villa etc): Turn right on E. Grand Avenue (at Grant High School). Turn Right onto Nippersink Blvd., pass Train Depot to the lakefront.
