SWALCO Household Chemical Waste Mobile Event, Sept. 17

Saturday, September 17, SWALCO will be holding a Household Chemical Wasted Mobile Event for Fox Lake residents from 8:00am until 2:30pm at the Lake Forest Municipal Services Center (800 N. Field Drive, Lake Forest).

Appointments are not required for Mobile Household Chemical Waste events. All HCW collections are for residential waste only. No business waste will be accepted.

Items you can bring to a collection include:

CFL bulbs
Unwanted prescription medicines and supplements (people and pet)
Unwanted over-the counter medicines and supplements (people and pet)
Household cleaners
Gasoline
Garden chemicals
Pesticides
Oil-based paints (no latex)
Oil-based varnishes
Other household chemicals.
