Meet A Library Trustee — Carolyn Vanco

Carolyn Vanco was appointed to the library board in 1994, and has been re-elected to four consecutive terms since then. She holds the office of vice-president of the board and has also served as board secretary. “I’ve enjoyed working on the board for the many years

I’ve served because it is an ideal way to give back to the community,” Carolyn says. “I’ve always been a library user and am an avid reader, so it really is a perfect fit,” she adds.

Carolyn lives in Ingleside and works as a bid coordinator for an educational products firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and is a former teacher. Her family includes a daughter and son-inlaw, a granddaughter, several cats, and a dog named “Hank”.
